What We Can All Learn from the “Fall Classic”
Teams’ quest for Baseball’s World Series Crown begins this week.
Some of the big market teams that were expected to be in the playoffs — New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers — made it. Other newcomers — Houston Astros, Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Cubs, and New York Mets — began making significant changes in the offseason 10 months ago to get there.
These teams discovered the recipe for success by continuously assessing and tweaking aspects of their business strategy, leadership, coaching staff and player personnel. In all cases, it was crucial for these teams to develop and articulate the right vision and goals, make sure everyone was on the same page, and then execute.
Once in the playoffs, the most cohesive teams usually seize the opportunity to go all the way. Tune in to see how the dynamics play out!
